I went on a tour of the Wolf Rescue Center in Divide, Colorado. There was a very old wolf there. His coat was in mid-shed, his steps guarded and challenged. He lost his mate the previous year. The look in his eyes told he was ready to go back to the land and become the landscape he once roamed. |
