Lately my imagery has returned to the animal kingdom.

Through animals, I am exploring the way the divine reveals

itself. As we pay attention to animals and their ways,

they take on the role of our teachers and guides.

These narrative paintings speak to the way knowledge is shared

and spread by the animals of the woods. Owl holds court as the

holder of wisdom and knowledge. Raven is the messenger of that knowledge, Fox is the protector. Hummingbird reminds us that

our true nature is joy, even in the most challenging times.

The trick is quietly observe the lessons and knowledge that

nature provides for us. Listen to the knowledge of the trees, the

wind, and the animals with an open heart and mind. We share

this planet with many teachers. We have much to learn.
